A mnemonic is 12 secret words that ARE your identity key. They let you restore access from any device. Write them on paper and store safely — never in a cloud note or screenshot.
SecraUI picks 3 random words and asks you to re-enter them. This confirms you actually wrote them down — not just skipped the step. No pass, no access later.
This password encrypts your private key locally in the browser. It protects you if someone else uses your device. It is not your Secra identity — you can change it anytime without losing your account.
